ABOUT SHAKING THE TREE

 I am a retired Visual Arts teacher, so I now have time to putter in my studio!

mostly Ceramics, but a little jewelry, painting, and general crafts. I will be sharing my work here. Most of it it will be available for purchase.

Each Shaking the Tree piece is handcrafted in my home studio. Working in small batches makes it possible for me to give personal attention to each piece. You can tell because each one is individual.

INSPIRATION

The colors and textures of nature are my biggest inspiration, botanical studies, plants, trees and ocean scapes are evident throughout my work.
